Using A Simple Card Layout
Easy Diagonal Sentiment Card
For this week’s post, I created a series of cards using Lighter Than Air 6×6 DSP and using one basic layout. I have 5 samples for you below, with small variations. My idea here is that we all have things that appeal to us, so I wanted to show you how you can use one very simple layout to create cards that really DON’T look the same. The card layout is basically a standard top fold card with a diagonal strip across the front that contains the sentiment. In the various samples, I used small die cuts, large die cuts, designer paper, embossing and die cut edges to give different looks. The construction of the cards was very basic. Below are the measurements and supplies for each of the samples. I’ve linked the supplies wherever I’ve mentioned them, and then added any other items at the end.
